Youth at Latimer

At Latimer Youth we are all about good times, friendly people and hearing about our Great God. We’ve learned the great news of hope found in Jesus and we want others to know about it too. We welcome any youth in school years 7-13 to come and join us.

Simon Johnson

Simon is married to Laura and dad to Hattie and Arthur. He had the privilege of growing up in a family that loved Jesus. By His grace, God has never let go of him. He has spent more than 20 years in youth ministry in NZ and the UK. He loves it and hopes to do it as long as God allows.

Junior Youth Group

Latimer Junior Youth is a fun, high-energy time of games, food and learning about Jesus together. We encourage youth to bring their friends along too!

Senior Youth Group

Latimer Senior Youth is a place where youth make friends, have fun, sing songs and get stuck into the Bible to learn about Jesus in a warm, safe and relaxed environment. We love big questions and meeting new people.

Junior Youth on Sundays

Sundays at Latimer are all about family being together. Our year 7-9 aged youth study God’s Word together with targeted teaching while the adults hear from God in the main talk. We discuss the big questions of life as we think about the good news of Jesus.

Safe Ministry

The safety of our children and young people is hugely important. All our youth ministry staff and volunteers are police vetted and well-trained following the Safe Ministry Blueprint. If you’d like to know more, read our other policies and get in touch with Simon or our Safe Ministries Officer.
