Our Mission Partners
At Latimer, our ultimate vision of ‘growing to the glory of God’ is given expression in our partnership with other believers who themselves are proclaiming Christ, whether that is in Aotearoa or across the world.
Below you’ll meet our wonderful mission partners, who we love and support through prayer, finances and friendship – some in Aotearoa, some far afield, but all seeking the growth of the kingdom of God through the proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the glory of God alone.
Our Partners
-
Neill and Rebekah Dunbar and their children Jonathan, Aaron and Emily, live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Their main role is to work alongside the Anglican church in Cambodia bringing the good news of Jesus to the Cambodian people. They are excited to see what God has in store in this beautiful country as they serve and disciple members of the developing church. Currently they are involved in the leadership team for a church plant in their area ministering to both Cambodians and expats.
Neill is also working on developing closer ties with the Anglican Church and the Phnom Penh Bible School. The Bible school is an independently run, non-denominational theological college that has been faithfully teaching the Bible for 30 years.
Cambodia has a great need for well-trained church workers. Having a pathway in-country for people to pursue theological education is a great blessing.

Luke and Naomi Sinclair are NZCMS Mission Partners who serve in Tokyo, Japan. They partner with KGK (Kirisutosha Gakusei Kai, the Japanese equivalent of TSCF) to reach 1.1 million university students across 282 campuses.
Luke works directly with students, teaching and leading Bible studies in Japanese, while Naomi focuses on training young leaders for student ministry. Their approach is both strategic and relational among Japanese students who appreciate their teaching and discipling and enjoy the fellowship opportunities KGK brings.
Beyond campus ministry, the Sinclairs are very involved in their Japanese church. Naomi runs a weekly Kohitsuji (Little Lamb) Kids Playgroup for local mothers, and a Narnia Reading Group exploring biblical themes through C.S. Lewis's books. Luke preaches several times a year, and both attend prayer and fellowship events. Their three children — Angeline, Emmett, and Ray — have adapted well to life in Japan.
-
Reverend Te Hauoterangi (Howard) Karaka is an ordained minister of Te Haahi Mihingare (Māori Anglican Church) serving as an NZCMS Māori Evangelist in Te Puaha o Waikato (Port Waikato) and the Hauraki region, in a joint venture between NZCMS and Te Pīhopatanga o te Manawa o te Wheke. He began in 2019 in an area shaped by a long history of resistance to Christianity, rooted in land confiscation and the influence of Pai Māriri.
Howard's ministry includes counselling, pastoral care, and leading people through forgiveness and healing. He has re-opened several Māori Anglican churches that had been dormant, expanded marae ministry from four to five marae, and in November 2023 launched Kāhui Tane, the first men's group in Te Puaha o Waikato.
-
Keri-Ann Hokianga serves as a Te Kaikawe o te Rongopai (carrier of the gospel) through TSCF, pioneering Māori evangelism in tertiary spaces across South Auckland. Her current focus is Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in Māngere, where she is sharing the gospel with Māori students, their whānau and wider iwi. Keri-Ann's strategic goal is to raise up Ngā Kaikawe o te Rongopai (many carriers of the gospel) among Māori communities, seeing Māori evangelise Māori as they did in the nineteenth century.

Fey Cotter serves as the National Director for European Christian Mission New Zealand, where she mobilises and encourages churches and individuals to join in God's work across Europe.
With extensive experience in church planting, disciple-making, and leadership throughout the Balkans, Fey supports gospel workers through sending, prayer, and practical care — especially focusing on the wellbeing of women serving on the field. She also contributes to ECM's International leadership and member care teams, fostering strong connections between supporters in New Zealand and mission workers overseas.

Mark and Renée Santich have been serving with TSCF and Christian Union at the University of Canterbury since 2001. They are passionate about helping students hear and respond to the gospel, discipling them one-to-one and in groups so they can, in turn, reach their peers for Christ.
Mark leads the Canterbury team, teaches Bible courses, and equips student leaders, while Renée focuses on discipling women and providing pastoral care. Together they are committed to seeing students grow in faith and live with Jesus at the centre of their lives, both on campus and beyond.
-
David and Maria Thompson moved to Mosgiel in May 2025, having served at Trinity South Christchurch since 2012. With their two sons, Ezra and Micah, they have planted Southern Cross Anglican Church Mosgiel as a CCAANZ Branch Church.
The church's vision is 'Salvation on the Taieri and beyond through the message of the cross', and their mission is 'Making known and living by the message of the cross.' Mosgiel and the wider Taieri district continue to grow, but its greatest need is for people to come to know Jesus.
David's passion is helping people understand the Bible, and the Thompsons are committed to building deep roots in this community for the long term.

Ross and Shona McGaughran live in Austria, currently learning German and building relationships. Their desire is to share Jesus in Austria. They are working alongside a team of local leaders to not just grow the church but develop a culture within the church of discipleship.
-
Isaac and Beatriz both serve full-time with Student Life at the University of Canterbury. Their hope is that every university student would have a chance to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus. They believe that having students equipped to share the gospel and shaping their lives around the Great Commission will make a huge impact in our world. Their passion is to connect with university students wherever they are on their faith journey, and to disciple them to love the Lord and go on to make more disciples.
-
J & C and their 3 teenage children live and work among the local people in a protected country in Central Asia. They find ways to walk with and support the few local believers in their area to grow well.
J and the team manage and grow a farming enterprise in conditions very different to ours in NZ.
-
Tim and Leah Simpson, with their kids Theo, Mariella and Hazel, are National Student Leaders for the Navigators NZ. Based in Auckland, their emphasis within the Navigators is to reach people for Jesus who, in turn, reach others. This is done through discipling people one-to-one and in small group Bible studies.
-
Rob and Jane Goodwin work with the Theological College of Zimbabwe (TCZ), in teaching and administration. TCZ is an interdenominational college in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Its purpose is to develop Christian leaders for effective leadership and ministry in both the church and society in Zimbabwe and across Southern Africa.
The college offers accredited qualifications from certificates through to master's degrees in biblical theology. Teaching is demanding: for most students English is a second language, and the broader context, which is shaped by traditional religion, witchcraft and ancestral worship, can present ongoing challenges that reach well beyond the classroom

Matthias and Pauline Loong, along with their two children Josiah and Kiana, are serving in Wellington where they planted a new CCAANZ church in February 2024.
Their heart is to see Wellingtonians reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples, who in turn make disciples. They believe planting gospel-centred, Bible-believing churches is a vital way to play their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As they establish this new church, their desire is to see many come to know Christ and grow in faith within a vibrant, Christ-centred community.
We believe in:
The Supremacy of God's Glory: We are driven by a zeal for God to be rightly honoured and treasured by all peoples. True worship of God naturally results in a passion to make His name known, so we are glad to partner with those who seek to do this.
The Great Commission: Our primary mandate comes from Jesus Christ's command to "make disciples of all nations". We view this not as an optional add-on, but as the very essence of the church’s existence, and therefore are glad to partner with those aiming to do the same.
The Eternal Vision: We look forward to the fulfilment of Revelation 7:9, when a multitude from every nation, tribe, and tongue will worship the Lamb, and conscious that heaven and hell are eternal realities, we are glad to partner with those who are also motivated by eternity.
